Record Flash videos over the HTTP and RTMP protocols.
On occasion or other the majority of people have found themselves in the situation in which they have found a
Flash video hosted over Internet that they would like to
save on the hard drive, but they haven't been able to do so due to the fact that they lacked the appropriate application, like for example
FLVRecorder.
This application will allow us to automatically record videos distributed by means of streaming over the
HTTP and the RTMP protocols. As well as recording them, the program will also offer the possibility to be able to watch the videos thanks to the
media player that it includes.
The process to
download the videos couldn't be any easier, all we will have to do is open the application and click on the record button, and the program will wait for us to visit a website that contains a
video in .flv format that we click play on, at that precise moment it will recognize the playback thread and it will automatically start downloading the video.
Therefore, if you want a
simple tool that will allow you to burn the Flash videos that you find embedded in many Internet websites, and that at the same time will also allow you to view the videos that use this format,
download and try
FLVRecorder.
Requirements: To be able to view the videos it is essential that you have the appropriate Flash video codec installed.
Note: The application will install WinPcap 4.1.1 during the installation.
The
trial period lasts for 30 days.
